This is high quality solid European Hardwood Oak Flooring from Western Russia.  It is just like English Oak - close grained, sandy colour, beautiful figuring.  Milled and machined to a very high standard this is not to be compared with some products that are coming in from eastern Asia and China.  This is manufactured to a very high standard and kiln dried 7.5% moisture content - this is quality grade oak flooring.

Oak Specification

It is Tongue and Grooved (T & G) on all 4 edges for a perfect fit and ease of installation - end matched included in the price.  We do not charge £5/m2 extra for putting T & G  on the short ends.

Our solid oak flooring is Micro-Bevelled on all 4 edges which makes for a smooth surface that does not need heavy sanding after installation.  The underside has stress grooves to ensure stability after installation.

Oak Floor Board Dimensions

We offer several widths - 90, 130, 150 and 190/200 all 20mm thick.  This means all our flooring is over 3/4" thick so it is structural - it can be laid directly over joists.  We offer two length packages to give you maximum choice and flexibility.  The first choice is for oak flooring in random lengths from 400mm - 1600mm.  The shorter lengths allow for finishing to the edges and mean wastage is minimal.  Allow only 5-10% extra when measuring and ordering.

The second package is for long lengths - 1600mm-2000mm.  These are priced separately in our price list.

Quality of Solid Wood Flooring

In every parcel of oak flooring there is a mix of 'prime quality'  (no knots) and a proportion of 'first sort' (some knots with filler, no break-out, some stronger colour in the grain) and 'second sort' oak with larger knots and stronger colours in the grain.
